This is the download page for StickyFolders v1.0 Lite, a capacity-limited evaluation version of the product. To purchase and download the full commercial version of the program, use the Buy button at the bottom of this page.

Offered for download from this page, is a free full-featured version of the program, with the only difference from the full commercial one being that the total amount of downloaded and stored remote data in it is limited to about 1,5 GB. After reaching of this limit, a warning message is issued and the program switches to a "read-only" mode, where the remote data can still be downloaded, but no longer stored on the user's hard disk, so the sticky files remain sticky forever (which is an equivalent of turning on simultaneously of the two Sticky Options, found in the Files tab for any object of the Options interface: Disable writing to sticky files and Write to the Windows swap file; the most common object to use these options with, would be a Mounting Point). You can't have local copies of remote files after this limit has been reached, but you can easily continue accessing remote files from within all the Windows applications "as usual", - this is quite a regular choice when you, for example, play multi-media files residing on Internet servers through StickyFolders.

Note that the About StickyFolders dialogue (available via either the program's tray menu or the Shell / File Explorer's right-button context menu) is the only place in the program's interface where you can see whether the version you are using is commercial or a evaluation (SF Lite) one; the word "Lite" will be appended to the StickyFolders Internet Shell Integrator title at the top of the window in the latter case, while the amount of the remote data currently downloaded and stored, and the total limit of wrtitable remote data set for the Lite version of the product will be displayed at the bottom of the About SF dialogue.

Wee will highly appreciate any feedback on your experience during trying out or using of the full version of StickyFolders. In the event of the program's abnormal or unexpected behaviour, please refer to the Troubleshooting and Known Issues pages, before submitting of a bug report to us. When reporting a problem, please attach additional info related to the problem, such as short description of your system config (make sure you mention the title of the Windows XP / Vista version of your system), exact release number and date of the StickyFolders product you are using (as displayed in the product's About screen and indicated below on this page), perhaps some jpeg snapshots of the error condition and the log file in a compressed (zip or rar) archive format; the log file should contain the statistics data recorded in the Debug mode on the verbose (or internetdiag , if necessary) Verbosity level of the log data, when the problem has occurred. (By default, this log file is named as SFolders.log and located in the My Documents/StickyFolders folder on the user's system).
